UPPER DEERFIELD TWP. – Cumberland Regional High School will begin the 2014-15 school year with a new principal, Ralph Aiello.
Aiello recently was appointed to the position, effective Aug. 1, by the Cumberland Regional School District Board of Education after an extensive interview process and careful consideration regarding the future of the district. Aiello’s appointment as principal follows the retirement resignation of outgoing principal John Mitchell, who has served the district with distinction since 2004.
“As for being selected as principal, I feel it is an honor,” Aiello said. “I have been here for eight years now, and there is no place I would rather be. Cumberland Regional is my second home, and I would not want it any other way.”
Aiello said he is most looking forward to affecting positive changes at the high school and working closely with staff and students on new programs, activities, and efforts. Read entire article here
