CRHS FBLA Code of Conduct

The following "Codes of Conduct" are expectations of the membership of the Cumberland Regional High School Chapter of FBLA.  They are in addition to the Code of Conduct set forth by the state and national offices.

  1. All members must report to all FBLA meetings on time. The procedure for reporting tardiness will be the same as that set forth by the CRHS administration.  Three unexcused latenesses to a meeting will result in the student being placed on the FBLA's inactive list.
  2. All members must attend the monthly general membership meeting.  If you cannot attend the meeting, you must notify the adviser in writing and receive approval.  An unexcused absence will be processed as a cut and turned into the assistant principal.  Two unexcused absences will result in the student being placed on FBLA's inactive list.
  3. It is the purpose of FBLA to help students develop leadership and organizational skills while in high school.  FBLA students are expected to refrain from the use of profane language, gossip, verbal altercations with other students, violence, threats, or any other behavior that is in direct conflict with the goals of FBLA.  The first violation will result in a conference with the FBLA advisers.   The second violation will result in the student being placed on the FBLA's inactive list.
  4. FBLA students must show respect at all times.  No exceptions.
  5. A student on the FBLA inactive list is prohibited from participating in any FBLA activities or attending FBLA conferences.
  6. A student who violates any FBLA local, state, or national rules while attending a FBLA conference or field trip will automatically and permanently lose membership in the Cumberland Regional High School Chapter of FBLA.
  7. The requirements for attending a FBLA Leadership Conference are:
    a) Absences from school must not exceed six (6) days for the semester or twelve (12) days for the school year.
    b) Good academic standing -- student must obtain teacher's approval to be absent from class.
    c) Good discipline standing -- student must obtain assistant principal's approval to participate in the conference.
    d) Student must be actively involved in 75% of the chapter's activities.
    e) At least one half of the conference cost must be obtained by FBLA fundraising activities.

I have read and agree to adhere to the code of conduct as set forth by the local, state, and national offices of FBLA.
