Language Arts 1 Honors: Choice Novel

For the 2017-2018 School Year

All students entering Language Arts 1 Honors are required to read a novel of their choice (restrictions apply) and complete a double-entry journal while reading.

Please note, students MUST get parental consent for the novel of their choice. If you are unsure whether or not your novel of choice meets the requirements as listed, it would be wise to choose a different novel.

As outlined in the information sheet, students taking Language Arts 1 HN with Miss Muhlbaier in the fall semester must bring their work to class with them on the first day of school. Students taking Language Arts 1 HN in the spring must drop off their work in the appropriately labeled bin in the Main Office on the first day of school. Work not received at this time will be marked late. Each day your assignment is late it will lose 5 points. If the assignment is not received by the end of the first school week, you will not receive credit for the assignment.

One final note: Please complete your double-entry journals in BLUE or BLACK ink or type them using 12-point Times New Roman. DO NOT USE PENCIL.
