Congrats to Riley Husted for re-breaking her 400 Freestyle record with a time of 4:40.51 with the old mark being 4:48.32 from the 2023-2024 season dropping 7.81 seconds. Andrew Sheppard also broke the 400 Freestyle record with a time of 4:39.32 with the old marking being 4:41.49 by Nick Roberts from the 2013-2014 season.

The girl's suffered a tough loss to Clearview Thursday night. However, there were several new qualifying times for the SJISA Coaches Invitational. Riley Headrick qualified in the 100 freestyle, Maahishee Patel in the 200 IM, and Riley Husted in the 100 backstroke. Placing first for the Colt's includes Maahishee Patel in the 100 butterfly and Riley Husted in the 100 backstroke. Placing second for the Colt's includes the 200 medley relay of Aine Kennedy, Riley Husted, Maahihee Patel, and Riley Headrick, Riley Husted in the 200 freestyle, and Mackenzie Davis in the 100 breaststroke. Placing third for the Colt's includes Megan Stanger in the 50 freestyle, Riley Headrick in the 100 freestyle, Mackenzie Davis in the 500 freestyle, the 200 freestyle relay team of Megan Stanger, Kennedy Seeley Moore, Payton Genco, and Riley Headrick, and the 400 freestyle relay team of Kennedy Seeley Moore, Kylie Stipes, Payton Genco and Melania Nimitzek. The girls face off against Vineland next week.

Swim Update: The Boys Swim Team defeated Washington Township on Tuesday night 116 to 52. Winning for the Colts was the new CRHS Record Holders in the 200 Medley Relay of Manntram Patel, Andrew Sheppard, Jakob Seibert and Asher Kennedy. The 200 Free Relay of Andrew Sheppard, Ryan Griner, Asher Kennedy and Jakob Seibert along with the 400 Free Relay of Grady Belum, Ryan Griner, Manntram Patel and Chase Sheppard also placed 1st. Individually, Asher Kennedy won the 50 Freestyle, Manntram Patel won the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke, Andrew Sheppard in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke. Patel, Sheppard, Seibert and Kennedy set the new record with a time of 1:44.59 breaking the previous record of 1:44.79 set in the 2008-2009 season by Billy Freitag, Phil Quick, Jeff Ritter and Brad Hawkins. Congrats for the individual and team success last night.

The girls swim team put forth their best effort in their meet Tuesday against Washington Township. Maahishee Patel qualified for the SJISA Coaches Invitational in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke also contributing two second place finishes. Winning for the Colts includes Riley Headrick in the 200 and 100 freestyle, and the 200 freestyle relay of Maahishee Patel, Mackenzie Davis, Megan Stanger, and Riley Headrick. Placing second for the Colts includes the 400 freestyle relay of Riley Headrick, Kylie Stipes, Aine Kennedy, and Maahishee Patel. Placing third for the Colts include Aine Kennedy in the 200 free, Mackenzie Davis in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, Megan Stanger in the 100 freestyle, and Kylie Stipes in the 500 freestyle. The Colts face off against GCIT Tuesday. 

Congrats to new events added for the boys at the SJISA Invitational Meet. Andrew Sheppard in the 100 Freestyle, Chase Sheppard in the 100 Freestyle, Jakob Seibert in the 100 Butterfly qualified for this meet. 

Relay Team

Third place finishes include Mackenzie Davis in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, and the 200 freestyle relay of Megan Stanger, Riley Headrick, Mackenzie Davis and Riley Husted. The Colt's face off against Washington Township Tuesday. 

 

 

The Boys Swim Team lost to a tough Kingsway squad last night 93 to 76.  Despite the loss, the boys times across the board were incredible.  Individual wins by Jakob Seibert in the 200 Free and 100 Free, Manntram Patel in the 100 Back and Andrew Sheppard in the 100 Breaststroke highlighted the scoring.  The 400 Free Relay of Jakob Seibert, Chase Sheppard, Manntram Patel and Andrew Sheppard took the lone win in the relays.  Many of the races were incredibly close and came down to the last second.  Individually, Andrew Sheppard broke the CRHS school record in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:02.65 breaking the previous mark of 1:03.70 set by Phil Quick in the 2007-2008 season to begin his high school career.  Sectional Qualifiers last night were Jakob Seibert in the 200 and 100 Free, Chase Sheppard in the 200 Free and 100 Back, Asher Kennedy in the 50 and 100 Free, Ryan Griner in the 50 Free, Manntram Patel in the 100 Fly and the 100 Back along with Andrew Sheppard in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.
