• *M Sophomore Physical Education

Physical Education is a required course.  Students must complete and pass four years of PE in order to graduate. During this course, students will have the opportunity to select the sport/activity of their choice.  Throughout the semester students will have six PE elective classes.  It is imperative that students dress daily in proper PE attire described in our physical education rules. The activities offered will fall under the following categories:

    • Fitness
    • Team Sports
    • Individual and Dual Sports
    • Recreational Games
    • Dance

Health is a four-week course which is graded separately from PE.  In time, your son/daughter will bring home the health course syllabus and class contract to be signed.  The contract has been written to ensure that both students and their parents understand how the course will run.  Students will occasionally be given homework which is expected to be completed for the next day.  If a student is absent from class, one day will be given for each day absence to complete make-up work.   A course syllabus will be given to each student for parent and student to refer to when there are questions on assignments and tests.

I will have high expectations for him/her in and out of the classroom.  I am asking for your help to maintain these expectations by checking with your son/daughter periodically to make sure his/her work is being done.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at 856-451-9400 x350 or moore@crhsd.org if you have any questions or concerns during the school year.
