Mrs. Lisa Saul
I am very excited to have your students in class this year. Whether your student is in College Prep, Honors Chemistry or Advanced Placement I have many great labs and activities planned for all. Each course is designed to challenge students and share with them how chemistry is a vital part of their everyday lives. I am starting my fifth year at Cumberland Regional and my 29th year of teaching. I taught Chemistry for 20 years at Vineland High School and 4 more years at Woodstown High School. The best thing about being a teacher is having the opportunity to share my love of chemistry with your kids. Each student brings something special to the class. I expect students to be prepared for class daily with completed assignments, an organized binder for chemistry work only, a composition book (for lab), textbook, and both a pen and a pencil. Calculators are also needed for this class. Honors calculators need to have an EE or EXP button. Homework is designed to reinforce and expand on the topics covered during class. Students are responsible to make up work missed due to absence. This should be done in a timely fashion, generally equal to the number of days missed. Students are welcome to come see me during SERA for extra help or after school if scheduled. Their success is my success. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by email at saul@crhsd.org.
