Mr. Matt Lawrence-Evans is the Wellness Counselor at Cumberland Regional High School. He holds an Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Rowan University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Mr. Lawrence-Evans is a NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), certified School Social Worker, and has over 15 years experience working with youth in educational settings, as a community mental health counselor, and a private practice clinician. Mr. Lawrence-Evans provides supportive counseling services to students and their families, as well as assists with the development and implementation of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practices within the classroom, district-wide, and through community partnerships.
