Vineland Public Library Holds Art Showcase

Cumberland Regional High School students are showcasing their Art creations this Spring. At the Vineland Public Library Foundation’s annual art show during the month of March, the event closed with a culminating ceremony on Saturday, March 30th recognizing student work in their area of creation, including Ink and Digital Collage, Graphite, Marker, and Painting. Nine Colts’ pieces were on display, with all students receiving honors. A Best in Show went to Lydee Darling, with a ribbon, certificate and monetary award. Charlay Cooper and Solymar Garcia both received First Place in their areas, also receiving a ribbon, certificate and monetary award. Aidan Cornwell, Melissa Cortazar Rodriguez, Jasmine Davis, Hope Johnson, Miyah McCoy, and Priscilla Ore each garnered Honorable Mentions for their pieces and received a certificate and monetary award. At the Bridgeton Public Library, ten pieces of work from the Pottery and Clay classes are on display now through the end of April. The works are in the Children’s section of the building. Well done to Mrs. Benfer, Mr. Graiff, and Mrs. Wiley for their guidance for the students and submission of the work!
