CRHS selected to participate in Paper Mill Playhouse Adopt-A-School Project


Program to enhance dramatic arts opportunities at Cumberland Regional

Cumberland Regional High School has been selected to participate in Paper Mill Playhouse's award-winning Adopt-A-School Project. This four year, four phase, arts-in-education program partners select students from a New Jersey public High School with Paper Mill – the state theatre of New Jersey. Currently entering its 26thyear, the Project has been cited by The Kennedy Centerand Stage Directionsmagazine as one of the nation’s ‘Top 10’ arts education programs.

Through the Adopt-A-School Project, students have access to the finest in theatrical entertainment, teaching artists, performers, directors, and arts administrators. A student who successfully completes all four years of the Project will receive a full curriculum of arts for arts sake programming – from observation to college prep, with stops along the way for participation and creation: an invaluable gift for any student. The Adopt-A-School Project is a unique program designed for all students, not just the career performing artist.
