CRHS celebrates April 2022 Students & Staff of Month
Cumberland Regional High School congratulates the April 2022 CRHS Students and Staff of the Month!
Students and staff were nominated and selected because they demonstrated characteristics which align to living the C.O.L.T.S. Life at Cumberland Regional High School:
"Sanaa' is a pleasure to have in class. She is one that always asks great questions, asks for help when needed, and always is in a good mood. She is well liked by her peers and is willing to work with anyone no matter the situation. Sanaa' is always prepared, organized, and on time with her work. Keep up the great work!"
"David 'Auggie' Cascais is one of the friendliest students at CRHS. He is not only focused on successfully completing his assignments, but also takes the time to focus on being a great friend. Auggie is the example of what living the C.O.L.T.S. Life is every single day. Keep up the great work!"
"I chose to nominate Shamoya because of her academic integrity, her work ethic in my class and other classes, and her overall positive attitude in everything she does. She is very eager to learn and is a high academic student. She values her education, and her attitude and actions show that."
"Nick is a great student in my Latin class -- always cheerfully willing to try new material. He works so hard to help our school community with his activity in clubs and achievements, but never lets his extracurricular activities interfere with his schoolwork. Well done, Nick!"
"It has been a pleasure to have Neerja as a student this semester. She has really excelled in her Biomedical Science course. She is kind and helpful to her classmates, and she is really working hard. Neerja has also displayed leadership qualities in her HOSA Sports Medicine group and has become a dedicated member of the club. I'm so proud of how much Neerja has grown over the years. Great job, Neerja!"
"Renee is one of our awesome senior CRHS students. Over the past four years Renee has participated in multiple sports, clubs, Student Council, and our ECHS program. However, I am nominating Renee because of her ability to be a team player. Renee is always there to support her peers and help them in any way she can. She has helped students who are struggling with their classes, and she has stepped up when planning for school-wide events."
Boys' Track: Duray Rainner
"Duray is a great athlete who puts his all into every workout, meet, and warm-up he does. Duray has quickly become one of our top runners, not through luck but through his consistent hard work and determination. When asked to try something new, he never complains or balks at the idea. Rather, he takes it in stride and puts his best foot forward. He is somebody that every athlete on the team can look up to! We love having him on the team and are proud of all he has been able to accomplish this season."
"Lori has been such a helpful addition to my classroom in the short time that she has been a member of the CRHS community. The way that she truly and deeply cares for each student in the class is unsurpassed. Students feel comfortable asking her for help, because she has shown them that she cares about their needs, both in and out of the classroom. I know that coming into the high school setting was a big adjustment, but Lori has adapted amazingly well. She has been able to take information from the lessons I teach to better assist the students, which is just another way that she goes above and beyond."
"Dave is one of my favorite people to work with! We get along great, and we work well alongside one another in the classroom. He is such a positive influence on his students and a wonderful role model for them! And of course, there are his jokes, which make me and the kids laugh every day!"
"Amanda deserves some recognition for the hard work she's been doing to support our students. She comes in every day always prepared to juggle everything thrown her way. Any time that someone needs help with a student, she is always there to provide advice and consult. Amanda truly cares about her students and proves that every day."
