CRHS art students fold 1,000 cranes for pediatric cancer initiative

Ms. Barber's classes make donation to Cranes for Cure organization

Ms. Barber's art classes recently folded 1,000 paper cranes and donated them to the Joey's Wings "Cranes for a Cure" initiative. The mission of "Cranes for a Cure" is to fund pediatric cancer research by selling origami crane strings and mobiles, and to provide origami cranes to pediatric cancer patients. Origami cranes symbolize hope, and the gift of 1,000 cranes symbolizes a wish for recovery and wellness.
