Senior Award Opportunities

Senior Awards are scholarship opportunities that are specific to CRHS graduating seniors. Senior Awards are posted as they become available. Please check this site regularly to view new and upcoming award opportunities. All applications for Senior Awards can be found by clicking on the scholarship name below.

Greg Giuliani Award ~ Deadline 03/08/2024

 

Cumberland Players is providing one award of $300 to a student who excels in the world of the Arts behind the curtains (Tech, Lights, Sound, Props, etc.). Interested applicants must submit a brief essay about their passion, accomplishments, and future in the arts. The applicant must plan to use the award to further their progress through the learning of the Arts. Applicants should submit their essay (with their name on it) to Mrs. Greynolds in the Counseling Office no later than end of the school day on 03/08/2024.

 

NJSBGA Scholarship Program ~ Deadline 03/18/2024

The New Jersey School Buildings and Grounds Association is offering 16 scholarships for $1000 each to graduating seniors who will continue their education with an Associate, Bachelor or Trade School degree. Applicants must complete and submit the application and provide all supporting documentation no later than 03/18/2024.

Heroes Scholarship ~ Deadline 04/05/2024

 

The Heroes Scholarship committee is offering scholarships to graduating seniors who choose to pursue a career in the healthcare field.  Applicants must show school and community involvement and academic ability.  Completed applications and supporting documentation must be turned in to Ms. Erety Smith in the Counseling Office no later than end of the school day on 04/05/2024.

Cumberland County Retirees' Education Association Scholarship ~ Deadline 04/12/2024

This scholarship is for a graduating senior at each high school in Cumberland County who is planning a career in Education at college or university.  Completed applications and supporting documentation must be submitted to Ms. Smith in the Counseling Office no later than end of school day on 04/12/2024.

 

Helyn Utley Memorial Scholarship ~ Deadline 04/15/2024

 

Country Garden Club was established 37 years ago by Helyn Utley with the idea of “Learn by doing.”  The primary purpose of the club is to share, educate, and grow in knowledge of nature and gardening.  This scholarship is given to a graduating senior who is planning to pursue a 2- or 4-year degree in Horticultural studies, Agriculture studies or Environmental studies.  Applicants must be a resident of Gloucester, Salem or Cumberland counties.  Applicants must be U.S. residents and have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.  Completed applications and all supporting documents should be submitted no later than 04/15/2024.

 

 

Cumberland County Women’s Hall of Fame Scholarship ~ Deadline 04/15/2024

 

The mission and purpose of the Cumberland County Women’s Hall of Fame is to honor those women citizens of Cumberland County whose contributions have been of greatest value for the development of their community and to celebrate and recognize women who have made outstanding achievements and significant contributions in their professional field, to women and girls’ causes or in community endeavors.  This scholarship is awarded to a female graduating senior from one of the high schools in Cumberland County who exemplifies these characteristics: academic achievement, community and school involvement, extracurricular activities, and athletic involvement.  Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be planning to enroll in a school of higher education.  Completed applications and supporting documentation should be submitted no later than 04/15/2024.

 

Gayle F. Riley Memorial Scholarship ~ Deadline 04/18/2024

 

The Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women Educators - Chi Chapter is offering a scholarship to a graduating female senior who is planning a career in education. Applicants can be interested in classroom teaching, school psychology, school social work, speech pathology, guidance/counseling or any other area in which direct support to students is provided. Applicants need to submit their completed application and all supporting documentation to Ms. Erety Smith in the Counseling Office no later than end of school day on 04/18/2024.
