Changing your password
When you change your password, you are doing so for your school-issued Chromebook AND all email, office applications, and TEAMS. Please note this does NOT change your Genesis password.
To change your password, visit Microsoft Password Management, log in using your current password, and follow the on screen prompts.
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password
The online wizard will take care of the rest!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- IF YOU CAN'T LOG IN:
FIRST, make sure you're typing your email address correctly.
Your full email address is on a sticker on the bottom of your Chromebook.
Please check the spelling completely. Do not omit your first initial (or initial variation).
Do not forget the leading 2 digits that indicate your graduation year.
Please note that long, hyphenated, and compound last names may have been simplified due to system requirements.
Please note that passwords are case-sensitive.
- IF THE TECH TEAM HAS RESET YOUR PASSWORD:
While not required, it is recommended that you use Microsoft Password Management to change it to something you will remember. This will dramatically increase your account security.
