  • The Cumberland Regional School District operates in alignment with the following Vision and Mission Statements, revised in March 2022 to reflect what the district strives to accomplish and how we pursue this vision:

VISION: The Cumberland Regional School District is an inclusive, progressive learning community that strives to create independent, productive, and ethical leaders of our diverse, evolving society by inspiring curiosity, igniting passion, and making excellence attainable.

MISSION: Creating Connections to Empower Every Student to be Successful and Fulfill Their Dreams.

Message from Superintendent Carl Dolente

  • Superintendent Carl DolenteWelcome to Colt Nation, where our philosophy on education is straightforward: It is our responsibility as educators to help prepare every child for the world of tomorrow. The high school experience must empower every young person with the knowledge and skills necessary to be a happy, productive, independent, and thriving member of our society. In order to accomplish this task, we have to create multiple pathways linked to a variety of experiences, both in the classroom and extending far beyond the walls of CRHS. Whether an individual chooses to go on to college, begin a career, or serve in the military after graduation, it is imperative that they move on from Cumberland Regional as a well-rounded, critical thinker capable of any task set before them on their journey. I strive to bolster pride in our district by enhancing our school culture and supporting an even stronger sense of community and school spirit to provide every Colt with unforgettable memories from their four years of high school.
