Another strong showing for the girls golf team at the Cumberland County tournament. The girls took 1st place, winning the tournament by 1 stroke, edging out Millville. Representing the Lady Colts were Nicole Tarquinio, Maahishee Patel, Molly Houck and Mollie Willis.
Nicole followed up her overall 1st place finish on Monday at the Salem/Cumberland tournament with another 1st place overall finish in the Cumberland County tournament.
Nicole and Maahishee have one final tournament scheduled for next Tuesday. Wish them the best as they will be playing in the Tri-County Conference tournament. #crhscoltnation

Exciting day for Cumberland golf! Nicole Tarquinio, Maahishee Patel, Joey Nolan and Manntram Patel competed as a team in the Salem/Cumberland mixed tournament. They took 2nd place overall. Although they tied for first place, they lost the tiebreaker on a match of cards. Maahishee shot a career best, 84, taking 7th place overall, Joey shot an 81, taking 5th overall and Manntram shot an 87, taking 11th overall. Just a great round of golf on an incredibly hot day.
Nicole led the team shooting a 78. She took 1st place overall, besting one of the Schalick boys. After 18 holes, they were tied for 1st and went on for a playoff to determine 1st place. After 3 playoff holes in which they both shot par, Nicole put her tee shot 20 feet from the pin and then made a incredible 20 foot putt for birdie and the win.
Congratulations to all four for a great day of golf and representing CRHS so well! #crhscoltnation

Dear Parents/Guardian(s),
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you about the upcoming NJSLA-A (New Jersey Student Learning Assessment Adaptive) testing, which will take place during the week of May 18th-22nd during blocks 1 and 2.
During this time, all freshmen students will be taking either the NJSLA-A Algebra 1 or NJSLA-A Geometry assessment (depending on math course) and the NJSLA-A Language Arts Grade 9. The first two days of testing will be mathematics, then writing, and the last two days will be language arts.
It is important that all students approach this testing with their best effort. The results will help identify their academic strengths and areas that may need improvement, which can be valuable for their future growth.
To help students prepare for the NJSLA-A, we have attached a PowerPoint presentation with strategies and tips for test day. Additionally, we recommend visiting
www.crhsd.org/njslapracticetest. This site contains useful information about the test, along with practice tests and sample items that can help students feel more confident and prepared.
We encourage you to explore this resource with your child, as it will provide valuable insight and practice materials.
Please make sure that students come to school that week with a fully charged Chromebook and charger for testing.
Thank you for your continued support, and we wish all our students the best of luck with their assessments!
