Cumberland Regional Army JROTC teachers, administrators, and cadets were honored to attend the Clayton High School Army JROTC Ball on Friday, March 13, 2026. The evening celebrated leadership, service, and was the Colts initial experience in such an event.
A special highlight of the night was hearing from guest speaker Colt Nation's own, Major Raheem Rahni, who shared powerful reflections on how serving in the Army shaped the direction of his life. He also spoke about the many parallels he sees between the discipline, teamwork, and resilience learned in the military and the experiences students gain through high school and JROTC.
Eighteen CRHS cadets proudly represented our program, attending the event in formal wear and demonstrating the professionalism and pride that define our JROTC community.
Thank you to Clayton High School for the invitation and for an evening that celebrated leadership, camaraderie, and the future of our student leaders. 🇺🇸🎖️#crhscoltnation

Stay tuned throughout the day for all star posts for our swim team!

Our trades students are building their skills the best way possible—by doing. Through hands-on practice, they are applying what they learn in the classroom to real-world tasks, developing problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence with industry tools and techniques. Experiences like these prepare students for successful careers in the skilled trades and show the power of learning by doing. #crhscoltnation

All Juniors will be taking the NJGPA the Week of March 16th-20th during blocks 1 and 2. Students need to make sure they are aware that this test is a graduation requirement for the state of New Jersey.
Attached you will find a PowerPoint presentation that will go over some strategies that will help you leading up to the test through the actual test day. The following website, https://nj.portal.cambiumast.com/families.html , can be used to not only find out information about the test, but it also has resources that include sample items, type tutorials, practice sample items, and full-length practice tests. The Language Arts portion of the test focuses on 9th and 10th grade NJ State Standards, and the Mathematics portion focuses on Algebra 1 and Geometry NJ State Standards. Please take time to look at the website and familiarize yourself with it.
Good luck and try your best!

HVAC students are in action mastering ductwork—whether in the classroom, the shop, or even a crawlspace. Meanwhile, our 2nd-semester Electrical students are getting started, building strong foundations through coursework and preparing for key milestones like the OSHA 10+ certification. Hands-on learning and real-world skills in action! #crhscoltnation

Cadets worked together to help establish and strengthen our Color Guard, highlighting the pride, precision, and responsibility that comes with representing your school and community. A powerful moment of the visit was watching students lead students — calling commands, guiding formations, and coaching proper movement with confidence and professionalism.
This collaboration reflects the very best of Army JROTC — leadership in action, mutual respect, and cadets stepping up to support one another. #crhscoltnation

Our BioMed Academy is taking strides — and it starts with leadership! 🌟
In early February, Mrs. Ninfa attended a Pre-Health Advisor & Educator Dinner with Rowan Virtua School of Medicine. She connected with deans, asked the tough questions about preparing students for life after high school, and proudly showcased the amazing work happening in Colt Nation. Huge thanks to Mrs. Ninfa for championing continuous improvement for our students! 🙌🩺📚
