Cumberland Regional High School (CRHS) is proud to announce that Ms. Elisabeth Campbell has been recognized as an Exemplary Educator by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE). This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding New Jersey educators who exhibit exceptional educational talent, an inspiring presence, and a clear, positive impact on students, colleagues, and the school community.
"We are absolutely thrilled that the New Jersey Department of Education has recognized Ms. Campbell's extraordinary commitment to our students and our school," said Mr. Justin Martin, Principal of Cumberland Regional High School. "Elisabeth Campbell exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding educator and community leader. Her dedication, creativity, and compassion set her apart as a role model for students and colleagues alike” boasts Cumberland Regional School District Superintendent, Carl Dolente.
The NJDOE's recognition process includes a review of the nominee's exceptional educational accomplishments, contributions to the profession, and demonstrated potential for professional and policy leadership. Ms. Campbell's work in dramatic arts has been particularly noted for fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
“I am honored to be recognized for this distinction. I truly believe that theatre can change lives and I love watching how theatre can help students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities both on and off the stage. Theatre education is my passion, and I so very proud of all of the students I have taught throughout my years at CRHS. I am very lucky that my theatre program is so valued at my school, and I look forward to many more years of serving the students of Cumberland Regional.”

CRHS boys cross country varsity competed at the NJSIAA Group 3 Sectionals Championship meet on Saturday 11/1. The athletes who competed were: Junior Ostin Matias, Sophomores Benjamin Pignatelli, Darius McCartney, and Gavin Richmond, and Freshmen Kaiden Simpkins and Jaydan Turner. The boys competed very well and every athlete ran their best time of the season! Congratulations on a great season boys!

At the October 2025 CRSD Board of Education Meeting, we had the privilege of honoring a number of our students. Students honored for COLTS of Character for September were: Ethan D'Agostino, Ashley Pacheco Sosa, Elizabeth Hall, Emilia Gomez, Aleah Woods, Alisha Amokomowo Kiara Pierce-Ackley, and Edwin Ventura. Additionally, the Board recognized Codey Fleetwood for placing 2nd at the 2025 Big Eastern States Exposition (The Big E) in Safe Tractor Operations Event which is a highly competitive Career Development Event (CDE) involving FFA members.

The CRHS Colts make the playoffs for only the 4th time in school history. They will travel to Winslow Township for a 1:00 kickoff on Saturday November 1st. The colts appreciate the continued support. COLT PRIDE.
Your Colts punched their ticket to the New Jersey Group 4 Playoffs with a 13-10 win over the Absegami Braves last Friday night. The Colts scored 13 unanswered points in the final 10 minutes of the game to secure the victory.
RJ Pierce rushed for 104 yards and scored 1 touchdown for the colts. QB1 Josh Davis scored the game winning touchdown with 2:00 minutes left in the game. The Colts defense stood strong in the second half, completely shutting down the Absegami Offense. Mekhi Davis, Marco Dionisi, Zion Stephenson, Andrew Mosley and Evan Bodine all had 5 or more tackles for the Colts.
Huge shout out to Duhmajze Cartwright! Duhmajze made 2 huge plays on special teams, including a fumble recovery that led to game winning score. Great job Duhmajze! #crhscoltnation #crhscoltathletics
