For Immediate Release: Cumberland Regional High School Educator Elisabeth Campbell Named NJDOE Exemplary Educator

Cumberland Regional High School (CRHS) is proud to announce that Ms. Elisabeth Campbell has been recognized as an Exemplary Educator by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE). This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding New Jersey educators who exhibit exceptional educational talent, an inspiring presence, and a clear, positive impact on students, colleagues, and the school community.
"We are absolutely thrilled that the New Jersey Department of Education has recognized Ms. Campbell's extraordinary commitment to our students and our school," said Mr. Justin Martin, Principal of Cumberland Regional High School. "Elisabeth Campbell exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding educator and community leader. Her dedication, creativity, and compassion set her apart as a role model for students and colleagues alike” boasts Cumberland Regional School District Superintendent, Carl Dolente.
The NJDOE's recognition process includes a review of the nominee's exceptional educational accomplishments, contributions to the profession, and demonstrated potential for professional and policy leadership. Ms. Campbell's work in dramatic arts has been particularly noted for fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
“I am honored to be recognized for this distinction. I truly believe that theatre can change lives and I love watching how theatre can help students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities both on and off the stage. Theatre education is my passion, and I so very proud of all of the students I have taught throughout my years at CRHS. I am very lucky that my theatre program is so valued at my school, and I look forward to many more years of serving the students of Cumberland Regional.”
Ms. Campbell received a state certificate of recognition from the NJDOE for this achievement.

The CRHS Colts make the playoffs for only the 4th time in school history. They will travel to Winslow Township for a 1:00 kickoff on Saturday November 1st. The colts appreciate the continued support. COLT PRIDE.

Your Colts punched their ticket to the New Jersey Group 4 Playoffs with a 13-10 win over the Absegami Braves last Friday night. The Colts scored 13 unanswered points in the final 10 minutes of the game to secure the victory.

RJ Pierce rushed for 104 yards and scored 1 touchdown for the colts. QB1 Josh Davis scored the game winning touchdown with 2:00 minutes left in the game. The Colts defense stood strong in the second half, completely shutting down the Absegami Offense. Mekhi Davis, Marco Dionisi, Zion Stephenson, Andrew Mosley and Evan Bodine all had 5 or more tackles for the Colts.

Huge shout out to Duhmajze Cartwright! Duhmajze made 2 huge plays on special teams, including a fumble recovery that led to game winning score. Great job Duhmajze! #crhscoltnation #crhscoltathletics
