The girls golf team took its 6th straight win, beating Vineland, Schalick and Delsea this week.
Scoring for the lady Colts in the three matches were Nicole Tarquinio, Maahishee Patel, Molly Houck, Mollie Willis, Ellie Nichols, Kaitlyn Daly, Rachael Gibson, Abby Sharp, Lita Watson and Sophia Dunn.
Molly Houck and Ellie Nichols both hit birdies to help the team beat Delsea in exciting fashion.

The girls also qualified for state sectionals for the first time in the school’s history and will tee off on Monday up at Rutgers. Wish Nicole, Maahishee, Molly and Mollie the best!

The CRHS Softball team beat division rival Deptford on Monday 14-1! Ja’Lynn Brown led the Lady Colts with 3 hits, including her 1st home run of her career! Casey Snead had 3 hits and stole 3 bases while Lizzy Pflieger, Alyssa Pierce, Maci Kwap and Payton Genco all had 2 hits each. Genco also had a home run on the day!

Gabby Ripa had a great day in the circle for the Colts. She allowed just 1 run on 5 hits and struck out 12….earning her 200th career strikeout!

On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Cumberland Regional High School FFA Ag Mechanics Team competed NJ State FFA Spring CDEs and won 2nd place at the NJ FFA Agriculture Mechanics and Technology Career Development Event.
Individual Placements were as follows:

There were 12 teams and 40 students competing at this state level event.

Girls Golf Updates!

~The Girls Golf team did it again, winning the SJGIT tournament at Wedgewood against 12 other teams. They took first place winning by one stroke over the 2nd place team. Nicole Tarquinio, Maahishee Patel, Molly Houck and Mollie Willis competed for the lady Colts. Nicole Tarquinio took 2nd place overall in a field of over 60 golfers. Great job ladies!

~Another win for the girls golf team. They beat a strong Williamstown team scoring their lowest team score of the season with a 194. The team was led by Nicole Tarquinio who continued her strong season leading all scorers with a par 36! Also contributing to the win were Maahishee Patel, Molly Houck, Mollie Willis, Ellie Nichols and Abby Sharp. #crhscoltnation

The girls Golf team won a close match against Washington Township. They had their lowest score of the season with a 196 against a 200 for Washington Township. Scoring for the Lady Colts were Nicole Tarquinio, Maahishee Patel, Molly Houck, Mollie Willis and Kaitlyn Daly.

The Girls also traveled to Ocean City last Friday and lost a close match, but played one of their best matches as a team. Scoring for the team were Nicole Tarquinio, Maahishee Patel, Molly Houck, Molly Willis, Sophia Dunn and Ellie Nichols. After the match, we traveled to the boardwalk for some pizza and team bonding. The Colts went on the road Friday and shut out Woodstown by a score of 7-0. Kameron Fiorani earned the Colt Chain by blasting a 2 run HR and throwing six shutout innings. Boys Track and Field competed at the highly competitive Woodbury Relays and completely showed up for Colt Nation! While all the boys who got into the meet performed well (Laron Adams and Troy Pitts in the shuttle hurdles; Laron Adams, Colton Robertson, Major Martin-Dunns, and Edison Negron in the 4x100; Sirius Holden, Edison Negron, Khalif Dawkins, and A’Niy Gross in the 4x200; and Sah’mir Murphy, Jaydan Turner, Matthew Lucas, and Juelz Lucas in the Distance Medley Relay) there were some stand out performances! Highlights include: Richard Pierce WINNING the Javelin with an impressive throw of 177.7; Dereon Johnson winning 6th in the long jump with a jump of 21’-7.50”; Yadiel Casiano, Sae’Jon Murphy, Juelz Lucas, and Duhmajze Cartwright winning 4th in the 4x800; and Joell Bryant, Justin Cornwall, Kamal Branch, and Dereon Johnson winning 5th in the Sprint Medley Relay AND 4th in the 4x400!!! After their performances on 4/18, Richard is now ranked 7th in the state for Javelin, Dereon is ranked 37th in the state for long jump, and the 4x400 relay team is ranked 33rd in the state. #crhscoltnation

Addison Weist went 3-for-4, stole four bases and drove in two runs as the Lady Colts defeated Woodstown, 13-6 and improve their record to 6-3 on the season!

.Alyssa Pierce went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base. Payton Genco drove in three runs on a 1-for-5 day, while Lexi Pierce went 2-for-4 with an RBI!

Gabby Ripa earned the win in the circle. She pitched six innings and struck out six while allowing 4 earned runs on 7 hits! Kolbie Wilson closed out the game for the Colts!

The Lady Colts topped GCIT 4-3 in dramatic fashion on Thursday! The Colts were down 3-1 going into the 7th inning. Lexi Pierce worked a lead-off walk, Casey Snead singled to left field moving Pierce to 3rd. Pierce scored on a passed ball. Lizzy Pflieger drew a walk and Ja’Lynn Brown came up with a 2 out 2 run single to left field.

Gabby Ripa earned the win for the Colts allowing just 8 hits and 4 strikeouts on the day. The Lady Colts improved to 5-3 on the season. They take on Woodstown today at home! #crhscoltnation
