It was a fun filled day of activities including food trucks, car show, vendor tables and pumpkin chucking. The CRHS Varsity Super Smash Bros team won the Stockton Shuffle at Stockton University, claiming the first tournament championship in CRHS Esports history.
Competing against 15 other schools, Alvino Rojas played Mr. Game & Watch, Anthony Terregino played Isabelle, and Charles Claypool played Pokémon Trainer. The tournament featured winners and losers brackets, with CRHS advancing through the winners bracket, winning the winners finals, and securing the title in the grand finals.

Charles Claypool led the charge in the first round with Pokémon Trainer, while Anthony Terregino cleaned up the remaining stocks. Then Alvino Rojas took over in round two, taking every single stock from the opposing team to complete an impressive sweep!
Our Marvel Rivals team battled through a tough matchup against Manchester Township, fighting for every advantage to earn a hard-fought 2–1 victory! Two players also reached impressive state rankings: Brylee Mantooth is now 10th in the state for assists using her Invisible Woman, and Jacob Reimer has climbed to 7th in the state for tanking with his Devil Dinosaur!

Cumberland Regional Girls Soccer Team earns their 8th win of the season in a big 7-0 win over Divisional Opponent, Highland Regional.
Hat Trick for Ellie Bodine, 2 Goals for Keira Williams, & 1 Goal for Marleigh Pereira. The Defensive line and goal Keeper Emma Burgess with the shutout! Player of the match was Amely Pina. The Junior Captain led the team today with 2 assists and helped the Colts Control the midfield.

Due to the number of suspensions handed down by the NJSIAA as a result of the altercation on the field and those who left the bench in the second quarter against Highland on 10/16, we will be forfeiting to Bridgeton on 10/23 and cancelling JV on 10/26. We do not have the numbers to support the team and will also not play JV as a result. We are disappointed that our season has to end this way, and we understand the frustration that comes with this outcome. As coaches, we remain committed to helping our players learn from this experience and understand the importance of accountability, discipline, and representing our school and community with pride. Congratulations to the girls tennis team as they defeated Deptford 5-0 to become divisional co-champions. The girls showed a lot of heart in a dominating win. Emma Kelly won at 1st singles, beating one of the better singles players in the division, in a 3rd set tiebreaker 3-6, 6-3, 10-6. Hannah Gray won at 2nd singles in straight sets gutting out a competive win 7-6, 7-5. Mollie Willis, with her tremendous consistency, won at 3rd singles in straight sets 6-0, 6-3. And, our doubles teams both played outstanding tennis and playing some of their best tennis of the season. The 1st doubles team of Emma Milhalecz and Shay LaTourette won in straight sets 6-4 6-2 and the 2nd doubles team of Gabby Keener and Mady May also won in straight sets 6-3 6-1. Proud of the girls for continuing to play hard at the end of a long season. #crhscoltnation
CRHS Boys XC had an amazing time at Cumberland County Championships on Thursday, 10/15. Every single member of the team conquered South Vineland Park’s treacherous hills, sharp turns, and difficult terrain to run their best time so far this season. These boys put forth their best effort and showed strength, determination, and grit. A highlight was freshman Xavier Williams placing 6th in the JV race with a truly impressive time! The team finished 3rd place overall. It turned out to be the perfect meet to celebrate our seniors (Nicholas House, Juelz Lucas, and Kaleb Pyfer). Next up, TCC Championships on 10/22! #crhscoltnation

Tenors and Basses from CRHS and other high schools throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware participated in the Tenor-Bass Festival at Rowan University. Students performed with a rock band and learned two choral pieces which they presented to the public at the end of the Festival. CUMBERLAND REGIONAL BOYS SOCCER CONTINUES TO CLIMB TO THE PEAK BEHIND SANTIAGO’S HAT TRICK!
As the regular season hits its final stretch with just four games remaining, the Cumberland Regional boys’ soccer team is hitting its stride at precisely the right time. Boasting a stellar 10-3-1 record, the squad is putting together its finest campaign in years, marking the program's best overall record since 2019 and its best 14-game start since 2002.
Since a hard-fought setback against Delsea on September 14, the Colts have gone on a blistering 8-1-1 run over the past month, establishing themselves as one of South Jersey’s hottest squads entering crunch time. In their latest victory, the offense was firing on all cylinders led by Fernando Santiago, who delivered a signature, career-defining performance. Santiago erupted for a hat trick and an assist—highlighted by the best goal scored by the program since 2019.
Santiago's explosive outing also etched his name into the school record books:
Single-Season Record: His performance brings him to 24 goals on the season, tying Tyler Skye (2013) for 8th all-time in school history for single-season scoring.
Career Milestones: The milestone performance also vaults Santiago into 8th place in school history for career goals.
Ruben Lopez notched a goal and an assist. Izzy Benigno set up two scoring opportunities with a pair of key assists. Jesus Cruz added to the tally with a goal of his own.
While the offense put on a show, the defensive unit delivered another lock-down performance. Behind strong play from Barile, Figueroa, McGraw, Everingham, and Fischer, the Colts secured their 4th clean sheet of the season, shutting down any attempt at a comeback.With the victory in goal, Ryker Barile moved into 8th in school history for single-season goalkeeper wins, capping off a stellar milestone night for the backline.
